On Thursday, May 21, we will conduct a leak test on one of Steelanol’s reactors. This type of leak test is a standard safety measure that we perform before the facility is brought back online. During the test, the reactor will be temporarily pressurized with nitrogen.

There may be temporary noise disturbances while the pressure is being released after the test. This involves a brief but audible hissing sound. The work will take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

We understand that this noise can be a nuisance to the surrounding area, and we are doing everything we can to keep it to a minimum.
