Who is it for? Secondary, associate's, and bachelor's degrees in Electricity or Electronics/Electromechanics/Automation/ICT/Energy Technology/Electromechanics, and many other fields!
ArcelorMittal offers you, as an electrician, an exclusive look at our site in Ghent on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. We will focus on our technologies that streamline our production process in two different departments.
Our own electricians will show you some of the installations on the galvanizing line and at our own power plant, where we distribute 150 kV across our various departments. You will also discover the high-tech applications we use to produce steel efficiently, such as PLCs, HMIs, network capabilities, and more.
Afterwards, there will be an informal reception where you can ask specific questions about the applications as well as job opportunities.
Program:
5:45 p.m.: Reception with snacks and drinks
6:00 p.m.: Short presentation by a department manager and HR
6:30 p.m.: tour of our site with a focus on electrical engineering
8:30 p.m.: Closing reception
