During the night of Tuesday, June 16, through Wednesday, June 17, there will be a maintenance shutdown at blast furnace B.

This involves the installation of several mandatory gas alarms on our premises.

  • The shutdown is scheduled for Tuesday evening, June 16, around 10 p.m., and then Wednesday night, June 17, around 2:00–2:30 a.m.
  • On Wednesday, June 17, the blast furnace will be restarted between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.

These sirens are a mandatory safety measure for our employees and pose no risk to nearby residents.
