ArcelorMittal Belgium has once again received the international “SDG Champion” designation under the Voka Charter for Sustainable Business (VCDO). This designation confirms that sustainability is firmly embedded in our business operations and is integral to our core activities.
SDG stands for Sustainable Development Goals, or the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. The SDG certification is awarded in collaboration with CIFAL Flanders and UNITAR, the United Nations’ training and research institute. Organizations that achieve the SDG Champion level demonstrate that they are translating sustainability into concrete actions and results.
For ArcelorMittal Belgium, this renewed recognition is a testament to the many efforts made every day in the areas of the environment, energy efficiency, circularity, innovation, and social responsibility. It reaffirms our ambition to continue building a sustainable and forward-looking steel industry.
A wonderful recognition for all our colleagues who contribute to this every day.👏🏆
