Following repair work on Steelanol’s bioreactor 2, we will conduct a leak test on Friday, May 8. This leak test is a standard safety procedure that we perform before the facility is put back into operation. During the test, the reactor will be temporarily pressurized with nitrogen.

Temporary noise disturbances may occur while the pressure is being released after the test. This involves a brief but audible venting sound. The work will take place during business hours, so any potential disturbance will be limited to daytime hours.

We understand that this noise can be a nuisance to the surrounding area, and we are doing everything we can to keep it to a minimum.
