Steel is 100% recyclable, time after time, without any loss of quality. At ArcelorMittal Belgium, we recycle over 1 million tons of steel scrap into new steel every year, accounting for almost 20% of our total production volume.

With XCarb® Recycled and Renewably produced steel we are setting a new standard: steel partly made from recycled scrap, produced with renewable electricity using an electric arc furnace. The result? A significantly lower CO₂ footprint.
