On Friday, August 14, we will be performing scheduled maintenance on our Steelanol plant between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. To minimize the impact on the surrounding area, these activities will take place during daylight hours. During the work, pressure will be released from one of the reactors. This may cause an audible venting sound for a short time.

This temporary noise disturbance is unrelated to the increased noise level we mentioned last week. That noise was related to an increased gas flow rate. The measures taken to address this have since had the desired effect. As previously announced, work is also continuing on the installation of additional sound insulation around a gas pipeline at the facility. We will notify you as soon as this work is completed.
